Job Summary

Unified Strategic is seeking a Front-End web developer in a Microsoft environment to translate designs into crisp code and build thoughtful experiences centered around our client’s needs. The Front-End Developer will work alongside our web team to determine the client’s needs, brainstorm solutions, generate website mockups and prototypes, present these prototypes to the client, and both develop and optimize live platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create design- and user-focused experiences
• Write, debug, and optimize CSS
• Write, debug, and optimize Javascript
• Build personalized and customized features for the client
• Research, recommend, and integrate well-supported CSS and Javascript frameworks
• Develop standard code that can serve as the foundation of future projects
• Collaborate with web designers and back-end designers to complete projects
• Create wireframes and mockups of site/application designs
• Turn feedback into custom solutions for client needs
• Optimize apps/sites to improve performance and efficiency
• Author technical documentation

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or similar field

• Experience building functional and effective platforms
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Javascript and CSS (including Bootstrap)

• Familiarity with basic version control concepts, such as pull requests

• 2-5 years hands-on experience with SQL Server (including stored procedures)
• 2-5 years hands-on experience with the Microsoft web development stack, including .NET

Experience

• Experience with the Microsoft web development stack, including ASP.NET, Visual Studio and IIS

• Experience optimizing Reports, Web App Load Times or Database Queries
• Experience with PowerBI (including DirectQuery)
